LINCOLN'S & WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY PHOTO LESSON: GUIDED HIKES FEB 12 & 22

Join Don Burns, local photographer, on the trails of South Mountain for a 3-4 hour experience! Learn the tricks of getting that special shot --that one that's award winning. Don will show you how the settings work & more importantly, show you why they are there and the purpose of "f stops", etc. You'll have plenty of photo ops along the way as you discover the local flora and fauna of this great, pristine and wondrous Sonoran Desert. You'll take home a "cheat sheet" that you can refer to often. It’ll be quite helpful in determining the proper settings for future shots. We meet as the Pima Canyon trail head on the east side of South Mountain where we'll begin to traverse the wilderness together. Our first stop is at an old stone office (well, what used to be an office) of the parks administration. Have a seat in the shade and take a look out of the window. Now that's a nice shot looking in or out. Rest up, grab a drink and we'll be on our way again taking desert memories with us.
