Hike N' Wake In The Lake

We’ll pick you up in the morning for a professionally guided hike through some of the most amazing & scenic terrain. There are trails for just about everyone no matter how physically active you may be. Venture onto mountain trails in the foothills where you will hopefully come into contact with some very interesting and unusual wild life. There is so much to see and admire as we traverse the wilderness, from Gambel’s Quail to our famous Roadrunners to Cactus Wren and many more! And what views you’ll get from “up there”…some with a 360 degree panorama of the Valley of The Sun that surrounds you. On the way you’ll have fun playing a few desert trivia games with your trail guide. There’ll be a plentiful supply of refreshing water and healthy snacks to munch on. After your hike, we’ll shift gears and we get on the road to the Apache Trail for the “wakes on the lakes” portion of your day. We’ll make a stop at the Goldfield Ghost Town. It’s a replica of an 1890s mining town with authentic mining equipment and an actual mine tour. After that we’ll continue on to Canyon Lake where you will embark on a 90 minute nature cruise on board the Dolly Steamboat. Your relaxing cruise takes you into canyons which tower above and provide for a breathtaking experience!! The Captain is always ready with comments and narratives about the area’s wildlife and history. You may see a natural stone formation that looks like Beethoven playing a piano! When the boat docks we’ll off to Tortilla Flat where you’ll have time for a great local Saloon-style lunch on your own, or one that you may have taken with you or bought.
