Turquoise waters cascade into travertine pools below a series of spectacular waterfalls deep in the heart of the Grand Canyon. This is home to the Havasupai Indians (people of the blue-green waters), who have lived here hundreds of years. Hear about the fascinating history of the Havasupai Indians, the canyon geology, wildlife and more from our knowledgeable guides. There is ample time to explore the falls and waterways, each one having its own special and distinct character. Plunging into the crystal clear waters for a refreshing swim is part of the usual afternoon itineraries. Evenings are spent stargazing while our expert camp guides prepare delicious and nutritious dinners. We tent camp comfortably under large shaded cottonwood trees adjacent to the famous Havasu Falls.
