Desert Splash Fall Escape

Desert Splash Adventures is the only tour operator in Arizona offering a seaplane adventure. Our signature tour is called the "Apache Air Trail", we depart Scottsdale airport follow the old Apache Trail through the Salt River Canyon and do a spectacular water landing on Roosevelt Lake. Along the way guests will experience Grand Canyon views over Apache, Canyon and Saguaro lakes, fly past Haystack Island and do a water landing on Roosevelt Lake.

After taxiing around Roosevelt Lake guests will experiencea water takeoff before starting their journey home. On the return flight we fly around Weaver's Needle, and the Spires, fly over Apache Junction and the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine, past Tortilla Flats and along the Superstition Mountain range. The entire tour takes a little under 1 1/2 hours and we promise an unforgettable experience.

If you are looking for even more adventure we offer various excursions in and around Roosevelt Lake. If you are interested in a Cowboy Experience we offer an adventure with H-4 Ranch. If you want to explore some of the world class Canyons around the lake we offer an overnight experience with Center Focus Expereinces. These adventures both include the "Apache Air Trail" tour and our partners H-4 and Center Focus will pick you up from and return you to the lake. We also offer a variety of remote island experiences on Roosevelt Lake on an island called Rabbit Island. We will fly you up and drop you off on the island where you can experience a Sunday Brunch, Wedding or a day of Paddle Boarding. If you can imagine it we can make it happen, just tell us what you like. We also cater to corporate gatherings where we can host up to 45 guests at our facilities here at Scottsdale Airport. While guests mingle we will take up to 9 passengers at a time on a wonderful journey in our seaplane. We fly a Cessna Caravan, that holds up to 9 passengers, 5 times a day 7 days a week, from October to April.
