White Mountain Apache Tribe
The Apache Office of Tourism, is located in General Crook's cabin (built in 1870), Apache Scout items, Cavalry Uniforms and Bugle Calls are some of the many surprises you'll find here. The Apache Cultural Center, located on the 288 acre site at Fort Apache, provides insight into the Culture of the Apache people.
There is plenty of outdoor recreation activities on the reservation; rafting the Salt River Canyon, or camping and hiking in the pristine beauty of the White Mountains. The lakes and streams are home to Apache Trout, a species not found anywhere else. World record Elk Hunting offers an experience of a lifetime with guides sharing their knowledge of the country.
This recreational paradise turns white in the winter when skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice fishing become activities of choice. Sunrise Park Resort Arizona's Premier Ski destination, is known for it's summer and winter activities as well as year-round beauty.

Fort Apache Historic Park includes the Apache Cultural Center - Nowike Bagowa (House of OUr Footprints, 27 buildings that date from the 1870s through the 1940s, Fort Apached Cemetrary, the first Commanding Officer's Quarters and housing exhibits onFort Apache, and a self-guided woalking tour.

Kinishba Ruins are a National Historic Landmark and one of the largest ancestral Pueblo settlements in Arizona.
The White Mountain Apache Culture Center and Museum - Nowike Bajowa (House of Our Footprints) includes exhibts on Apache arts, culture and history. Local art, books and souvenirs are also available in the gift shop.
