Vineyards
Arizona's modern wine industry started with just one vineyard in 1973 – but in just a few short decades, it’s grown to include more than a dozen vineyards scattered across the state.
Arizona’s vineyards are located in various microclimates throughout the state, with some as far south as the Mexico border, and others as far north as Jerome, Sedona and Kingman.
These fabulous wines have won numerous awards, earned international acclaim, and have been served at the White House since 1989. If you love wine, don't miss your chance to tour an Arizona vineyard or taste a glass of local wine.
Today there are over 63 bonded wineries and many more vineyards and wineries are planned. The Arizona Wine Growers Association (AWGA) serves grape growers and winemakers in Arizona, allying its members for representation, promotion and education. The association strives to advance with integrity the sustainable growth and production of authentic Arizona-grown wines.
