Arizona Office of Tourism Launches “Arizona Passages” to promote 27 Arizona State Parks and the 800-mile Arizona Trail

With fuel prices reaching an all-time high, many Arizona residents are looking to vacation closer to home this summer. Fortunately, they won’t have to look much further than their own backyards. To encourage travel instate, the Arizona Office of Tourism has teamed up with Arizona State Parks department and the Arizona Trail Association to launch the “Arizona Passages” campaign.

AOT Launches Music Project Using Social Networking

AOT has developed the Arizona Music Project (AMP), a six-minute musical tribute to Arizona that captures the state’s diverse geography, culture and heritage in music. In addition to the composition, a documentary was created to chronicle the journey of the musicians who contributed to the project.

2008 Official State Visitor’s Guide & Map Now Available from the

The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has released the 2008 Official State Visitor’s Guide and Map (OSVG). As with previous editions, the 2008 OSVG continues to be a valuable resource for visitors planning to travel to the Grand Canyon State. The OSVG offers information on Arizona state parks, hotel accommodations, golf courses, spas, events, and family adventure opportunities.

Arizona Recognized as Number One Golf Destination in North America

It’s a hole in one for Arizona! The Grand Canyon State has been recognized as the number one golf destination in North American by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO). Representatives from the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) accepted the award in a recent ceremony at the International Golf Travel Market Awards Gala on December 6, 2007, in the Gran Melia Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) officially launches Travel Deals, an innovative Web page offering great new travel and vacation deals for visitors planning a trip to Arizona. The Web page is linked to AOT’s consumer Web site, www.Arizionaguide.com. Travel Deals, formerly ArizonaVacationValues.com, was created as an opportunity for statewide businesses, including restaurants, hotels, sporting events and attractions, to post great vacation opportunities for travelers.
