Advertising Campaign

In One Word – Arizona
Arizona is a state where towering mountains frame a flawless landscape, sweeping vistas take your breath away and hidden valleys beckon you to explore. And now it's taking center stage – along with other exhilarating Arizona sights – in the state’s new advertising campaign, “In One Word – Arizona”.

Using captivating still photos of some of Arizona’s most breathtaking attractions from Mark Laverman, a freelance photographer from Phoenix, the ads kicked off in October 2010, each with a single powerful word to accompany every captivating picture. The result is an unforgettable campaign that conveys the true awe-inspiring beauty of Arizona.

See some of the brilliant photography and the ads that were chosen for the campaign in the slideshow, and learn more about Mark Laverman, below:

Enjoy the captivating still photos and breathtaking sights featured in the campaign every day – download them as wallpaper for your computer desktop background now.

About Mark Laverman:
Mark’s parents moved to Phoenix in 1985 when he was attending college, and he immediately fell in love with Arizona. Amazed and inspired by the beauty and diversity of the state, he knew right away that he wanted to move here. Having his images chosen for the state's new campaign brings him full circle, because it was originally a series of posters from Arizona Office of Tourism that inspired him to start photographing the state in the first place. Mark hopes that having his images chosen for the new campaign will help others experience some of the unbelievable grandeur and beauty of Arizona, and entice them to come see it with their own eyes.
