London Bridge
The London Bridge, which originally spanned the River Thames in London, is now a permanent fixture at Lake Havasu, one of Arizona's most popular lakes for outdoor recreation.
Robert P. McCulloch, the founder of Lake Havasu City, purchased the London Bridge in the mid-1970s and had it transported to Arizona as a tourist attraction. The London Bridge was re-assembled on Lake Havasu, and it continues to draw visitors in droves as one of Arizona’s more quirky pieces of history.
