2nd Annual Superior Trails Ecotourism Festival

Town of Superior is excited to invite you to attend the second annual Legends of Superior Trails Eco Tourism Festival.  Superior has many great outdoor adventures waiting for you and we would like to invite you to come and learn more about all there is to see and do in Superior.  This event will feature a pancake breakfast, guided hikes, dutch oven cooking and archery demonstrations as well as several interactive booths and displays showcasing various outdoor activities.  There will be eight different guided hikes from a walking store telling tour of downtown Superior, a photography walk a history hike through Pinal City now a ghost town on the LOST, Pinal Cemetery Hike (a desert drive to get there but no 4x4 needed), the Cross Hike recently added for avid hikers, a geology hike through the canyon segment of the LOST and a hike on the Arizona Trail which was recently designated as a National Scenic Trail.  Equestrian users and mountain bikers are also encouraged to participate, however guided rides are not available this year.  History Luncheon Lectures, tickets are $10 and include a BBQ sandwich, cowboy beans, potato salad, vegetable, drink and dessert.  During the luncheon you will learn in depth history about the famed Pinal City and the history of the surrounding Tonto National Forest.  Proceeds from the luncheon will help support future development of the LOST.
