25th Annual Fiesta Bowl Half Marathon and 5K Race Happening on Sunday
Benefiting charities for the run include Food for the Hungry,
Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona and Girls on the Run


WHAT:     The Runner’s Den Fiesta Bowl Half Marathon and 5K is one of Arizona’s oldest and finest distance events, featuring the most technologically sophisticated chip timing, interactive expo, entertainment and cash prizes. Runners each receive a high-quality Technical Running Shirt, goodie bags and post-race refreshments.

WHERE:         All races start and finish on 75th Street at Main in Scottsdale, adjacent to the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza.
    
WHEN:         Sunday, Dec. 2. Registration opens at 6 a.m.; Life Balance Expo opens at 6:30 a.m.; Half Marathon Early Start begins at 6:30 a.m.; Half Marathon Regular Start begins at 7:30 a.m.; 5K Run begins at 7:35 a.m.         

VISUALS:    More than 3,000 runners participating in both events, as well as a special 5K start time at 7:40 a.m. for Girls on the Run, a program that aims to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
